Iola Family Dental maintains a prevention-oriented dental practice that focuses on the individual needs of the patient. It is our highest priority to assure the patient's comfort and satisfaction. Our staff’s gentle and compassionate touch helps patients both young and old keep their teeth healthy and maintain a beautiful smile for a lifetime.
Dr. Messner
Dr Rod Messner graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Pennsylvania State University in 1981 and received his DMD from Temple University Dental School in Philadelphia, PA in 1985. He owned and operated a private practice in Pennsylvania before relocating to Wisconsin in 2006.
“My approach to dentistry is a proactive one. I like to empower my patients to make informed decisions about their care. I know it sounds cliché’ but I treat them as if they were a member of my family. As a result, I’ve enjoyed numerous long-term, multi-generational patient relationships.”
A Fellow with the Academy of General Dentists and the International College of Dentists as well as a member of the American Dental Association. Dr Messner enjoys spending time with his family and their 1 dog and 2 cats. He also enjoys kayaking, yoga, and tennis and is a member of the National Ski Patrol, spending much of his free time on the slopes. He admits to being a Badger fan with one exception, when they play Penn State.
